The Haunted Wordsmith Writing Prompt June 1 2019

Created a story starting with “We close in five minutes.”

“We close in five minutes”

“Yah, yah, I gotcha.”

“Can I help you with anything in there?”

“Well, um no, I’m okay. Just hang on.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes. I’m sure.”

“O.K. but hurry up.”

“I’m glad you called the precinct.”

“I didn’t know what else to do.”

“You did the right thing.”

“I wish I could’ve helped.”

“It’s fine. He’ll be ok. He just had

his zipper, caught on his um…….”

      1. I tend to make a lot of jokes in comments because why not? Life is serious as it is and being silly is my innate nature. But I fear even WordPress dialogues aren’t immune to misunderstanding and negativity when confronted with facts (I countered someone’s misguided opinion with evidence based scientific studies and it went as well as you can guess😄). I hope if ever you do find anything troubling on my part, you’ll be direct with me, Jen. I love straightforward attitude. Only then would I feel free to be my silly self with you. 🙂

  1. I understand what you’re saying PERFECTLY! Comments can be taken out of context. Your knowledge should be respected, at the very least welcomed. Should I disagree with you I’d say so 😂 Everyone has the right to their opinion. As my grandmother used to say “If you have nothing good to say don’t say anything at all.” Silence is Golden. Then again, silence also can be taken out of context 🥴 I love your “Silly Self” ❤🌼
